Packing a Whole Cơm Tấm Corner into Six Colors

An early study for the Pepsi Meal Cans


I was drawing Cơm Tấm, but somehow ended up drawing everything around it too: the metal tables, the shopfront, the fire, the plates, and the little things I had seen so many times growing up in Vietnam.
All of it, reduced to six colors on a can.

This version never made it to the final design, but I still like what it captured.
